Jacob Jensen

Jacob Jensen made his name in 1958 in MoMA where he showed his marriage of two 20th century design traditions: European Bauhaus and American design icon, Raymond Loewys. Jensen adopted the “MAYA” (Most Advanced Yet Acceptable) principle for his watches. Together these have formed the branding of his designs ever since and one of his first designs was the Jacob Jensen wristwatch.
