This week I have picked a brand new watch that is right in the peak of this hot season: the oh so pretty Stella Rose gold from Juicy Couture newest collection. In revisiting this unquestionably fashion brand, I couldn’t help noticing a couple of trends coming back and staying strong to become almost an essential part of our daily attire.

The first trend is more of a must have these days: The Boyfriend watch. Yes, just like the boyfriend jeans or the oversized cardigans the boyfriend watch came to stay and offer us the comfort and effortless style of our beloved male partners. The Rose gold fever has been a huge trend and one I personally love since it’s the perfect hue to go for brunettes and girls with warmer skin tones like yours truly. Combine these two trends and you will end up with a delightful timepiece that screams fashion, a timepiece that is begging to be loved and seen for all its beauty!

Stella Rose Gold Watch

The stunning Stella Rose gold is a watch that makes a statement, a fashion statement. The contrasting pops of color in the dial and the J and C on the hand of the timepiece complement the timeless style. The strong rose gold-coated stainless steel bracelet imparts a decidedly elevated charm to this watch. Big, bodacious and beautiful, it looks like I’ve found my new best boyfriend (watch) for the rest of the summer season!

Last week, I was so excited to know that we would start selling Gucci watches. The luxurious brand that celebrities are so fond of has created beautiful timepieces for what my pick of the day couldn’t be more clear.

My pick, the iconic Gucci bamboo bangle watch has a history of its own: bamboo is one of Gucci’s most iconic motifs; it was developed during the Second World War in a time where materials were scarce. The noble material proved to be an attractive and practical alternative. The bamboo cane was imported from China and from there it went through a process that involved heating and molding executed by skilled artisans in Italy. Every timepiece is unique, since each piece of bamboo is shaped, carved and crafted by hand. From Italy, the watches depart to La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, the place known as the world capital of the watch making industry, to be finally assembled.

The new bamboo style has a round case and it’s available in three variants: with a black, brown or silver sun-brushed dial. I loved the brown dial variant with its softer contrast, but really, the star here is the natural bamboo details and the gorgeous stainless steel bangle that lends this watch a level of sophistication and elegance you could only expect from this iconic brand.

The summer season is still in full swing but that doesn’t mean that dedicated fashionistas like me shouldn’t be looking forward and towards the upcoming season and doing some prep work! Au contraire, NOW is the time to look at the trend dominating the runways in the fashion capitals of the world and pay close attention to it. In doing so I have found one of my old favorite trends making a grand come back for this fall/winter season: Black and gold.

Paris, Milan, New York and London have all re-introduced the classic combination, offering many options for fashionistas in the upcoming cool weather. There are so many ways to wear black and gold together that is pretty easy and affordable to follow the trend this fall. Black clothing paired with gold jewelry is a classic hit, but why not take a step further by including a hot accessory, such as the beautiful Parrera black gold watch to complete the look?

The Danish brand Pandora is well known for its gorgeous and ultra-feminine jewelry and off course, their watches are no exception.

My pick of the day is the very pretty Pandora double oblong watch.
