1. "Beautiful, tough and robust watch"

   Owned this cool watch for about a week now and I really like it! In the beginning I had to get used to the strap. It was not comfortable at first. The strap is made of a very robust and hard-wearing textile called Cordura and was a bit stiff at first. But after a few days of wearing it day and night and also in the shower it fit fine. On the internet there are many people who find the date too small and difficult to read but I personally find that not so bad. It is also very nice that unlike my previous watch (smartwatch) I never have to charge this watch and I never even have to put in a new battery! This rugged Citizen can be worn with casual clothing but I think it would also look great with a suit. At first I was a little hesitant to buy the green version (also made of Cordura) or the stainless steel version but I went for black. This is because I think black goes best with most clothes and I already see so many stainless steel watches on other people. By the way, the case and buckle are stainless steel with a special protective coating to prevent scratches. By the way, the case has only 1 opening (the back is closed) which makes this watch extremely shock resistant. What I also liked was that I was able to try them on first at the horloge.nl store in Rotterdam. I had ordered the metal and the textile version (and didn't have to pay for them right away) so I could judge them well without being stuck with anything. I can say that I am super happy with this purchase and will probably enjoy this beautiful, tough and robust Citizen watch for many years to come!

   Sinds een kleine week dit stoere horloge in bezit en deze bevalt me zeer goed! In het begin moest ik wel even wennen aan het bandje. Deze zat niet gelijk lekker. Het bandje is namelijk gemaakt van een zeer robuust en slijtvaste textielsoort genaamd Cordura en was in het begin een beetje stroef. Maar na een paar dagen dag en nacht en ook onder de douche gedragen te hebben zit hij prima. Op internet zijn veel mensen die de datum te klein vinden en deze moeilijk kunnen lezen maar ik vind dat persoonlijk reuze meevallen. Heel prettig ook dat ik in tegenstelling tot mijn vorige horloge (smartwatch) dit horloge nooit meer hoef op te laden en er zelfs nooit meer een nieuw batterijtje in hoef te doen! Deze stoere Citizen is te dragen bij casual kleding maar zal denk ik zeker ook mooi staan bij een pak. In het begin twijfelde ik nog een beetje of ik de groene variant (ook van Cordura) of de versie in roestvrijstaal zou kopen maar ben toch maar voor zwart gegaan. Dit omdat ik denk dat zwart het beste past bij de meeste kleding en een roestvrijstaal horloge zie ik al zo veel bij andere mensen. De kast en gesp zijn trouwens wel van roestvrij staal met een speciale beschermende coating om krassen tegen te gaan. De kast heeft trouwens maar 1 opening (de achterkant is dicht) wat er voor zorgt dat dit horloge extreem schokbestendig is. Wat ik ook fijn vond was dat ik ze eerst bij de horloge.nl winkel in Rotterdam heb kunnen passen. Ik had de metalen en de textiel versie besteld (en hoefde deze niet gelijk te betalen) zodat ik ze eerst goed kon beoordelen zonder ergens aan vast te zitten. Ik kan wel zeggen dat ik super blij ben met deze aankoop en waarschijnlijk nog vele jaren plezier zal hebben van dit mooie, stoere en robuuste Citizen horloge!
