This special edition watch is available exclusively through select Seiko Dealers, including Mastersintime. This latest addition to the exclusive Prospex PADI line has been upgraded with a glossy scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. The biggest improvement is in the case, which has a new super hard coating, making the watch up to three times more scratch resistant. The sapphire glass that has been used in PADI watches since 2018 has an anti-reflective layer on the inside of this model. In combination with light blue hands with a black bottom that makes them appear to float, the dial is very easy to read due to the high contrast. The SPB325J1 does not have the signature red and blue PADI color scheme, but the PADI Earth logo embossed on the matte black dial. The blue silicone accordion strap is very comfortable. This strap design was invented by Seiko in 1975 as a solution to the expansion and contraction of a diver's wrist at different depths.
