This diving watch with a 'turtle' case shape is nicknamed the 'Captain Willard'. This watch was very popular with American soldiers in the 1970s, who named it after this character played by Martin Sheen from the movie Apocalypse Now. The contemporary interpretation of this Seiko classic has been modernized with an improved dial layout, domed sapphire crystal and a new automatic movement with a power reserve of 70 hours and a more compact steel case with scratch-resistant coating for greater wearing comfort.
