Product description

First launched in 1969, the automatic Minilip was a watch meant for 6-8 year-olds, specially designed for learning to tell the time with an innovative pedagogical device. The Minilip originally featured a three-part dial, allowing for the reading of minutes, morning hours, and afternoon hours. Today the watch is reimagined in a 29 mm case for adults and children alike. The first circle indicates the afternoon hours from 1pm to midnight (hence the dark colour), while the second circle indicates the morning hours from midnight to midday. These two circles can be read with the red hour hand on the dial which corresponds to the red digits in the inner dial. The central circle displays the minutes in a very explicit way: ‘5’ ‘10’ ‘and a quarter’, ‘and a half’.

This LIP watch has a case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 29 mm and is fitted with a textile band. Inside the case lies a Miyota movement and the watch features a Mineral crystal.

The watch is 5 ATM. This means the watch is suitable for showering. The watch comes with 2 Year Warranty.
