2. "No more replacing batteries "

   Likes. Fine watch, clear time, modest sound of pointer. The idea that I never have to change batteries again is very nice. Both for reasons of waste and practicality (because it is always incredibly inconvenient when your watch battery runs out😉 ) What I do find unfortunate is that the 'glass' is not made of glass and scratches easily. It's a pity that a product that is marketed as durable, will not last very long because of this (and thus still causes waste). But: the idea is certainly cool, hopefully the technique works well and can be used more often! What I do find a bit tricky is that you have no idea how much power is left in the battery. Charging is best done outside. No problem in summer of course, but how will it work when it gets colder and your watch is tucked away in jackets and gloves? Time will tell!

   Bevalt goed. Fijn horloge, duidelijke tijd, bescheiden geluid van wijzer. Het idee dat ik nooit meer batterijen hoef te vervangen is heel fijn. Zowel om het afval als om de praktische kant (want het komt altijd ontzettend ongelegen wanneer je horloge batterijtje leeg is😉) Wat ik wel jammer vind, is dat het ‘glas’ niet van glas is en snel krast. Beetje jammer dat een product dat op de markt wordt gezet als duurzaam, niet erg lang mee zal kunnen gaan hierdoor (en dus alsnog afval veroorzaakt). Maar: het idee is zeker tof, hopelijk werkt de techniek goed en kan deze vaker toegepast gaan worden! Wat ik wel een beetje lastig vind, is dat je geen idee hebt hoeveel power er nog in de batterij zit. Opladen gaat het beste buiten. In de zomer natuurlijk geen probleem, maar hoe zal dat gaan als het straks kouder wordt en je horloge diep weggestopt zit in jassen en handschoenen? De tijd zal het leren!
